At we are committed to ensuring that you are satisfied with your purchase. Buying online, we understand that it can be difficult to ensure that you are getting the right size or color for you. For these reasons, all items purchased online at may be returned within 30 days of their purchase date with some simple conditions.

RETURNS ONLY: To ensure the simplest, and most efficient process for everyone, we only accept products purchased on as returns for refund or store credit, not for exchange. If the item wasn’t what you were expecting and you’d like something else instead you can go ahead and order the new item on as soon as you like. This way, you will receive your replacement more quickly, and be assured that you will receive the product you want, without worrying that it will be sold to someone else while your return is processing. If you made your original purchase on-sale and you wish to order a similar item, we will be happy to offer it at its sale price from the date of your original purchase. In that case, please let us know the details of your intended purchase when you first contact us about your return.

ALL ITEMS PURCHASED AT REGULAR PRICE may be returned for store credit or a full refund with free return shipping.

ALL ITEMS PURCHASED ON SALE AT 30% OFF OR LESS may be returned for a refund minus a return shipping fee of $15.

ALL ITEMS PURCHASED ON SALE AT 40% OFF OR GREATER may be returned only for store credit minus a return shipping fee of $15.

ALL ITEMS MUST BE RETURNED IN THE SAME CONDITION THEY WERE RECEIVED. Our commitment to customer satisfaction extends to all our customers, therefore we can only accept the return of products in a condition in which we would be comfortable reselling. All returned items must have their original tags intact and attached, as well as any additional product packaging. Returned items that do not meet these standards may be shipped back to you at your expense or a restocking fee of up to 25% will be deducted from your credit and/or refund.


So, your item doesn’t fit, or wasn’t what you expected and you need a return.

If you’re in the Montreal area, typically the simplest way to return your items is to come in to one of our two stores: The North Face Westmount or The North Face Brossard – DIX30.

However, if that’s not convenient, you can ship your items back to us from a Canada Post outlet near you by following these steps:

  1. Request a Return: Navigate to AuSommet returns and, when promped, enter your order number (Located at the top-right corner of your invoice, beginning with W-XXXX) and the email address you used to place the order. Please complete the form to give us a little more information about your return. Once your return is approved a pre-paid Canada Post shipping lavel will be sent to your email address. 
  2. Packing: Once you've received your pre-paid shipping label, print it and pack up your item(s) for return. Please make sure to include a copy of your invoice with the items you’re returning highlighted. You can reuse the original shipping container, or your own, but make sure that the items are well wrapped and protected for their journey with their original tags attached and intact.
  3. Shipping: Attach the Canada Post shipping label we’ve provided to the package and drop it off at your nearest Canada Post outlet. (If you don’t know your nearest Canada Post location they can be found at
  4. Receive your refund or store credit: Once we receive your item and have verified its condition, we will begin to process your refund or store credit.

Refunds must be applied to the original method of payment only, and are processed by our system within 3-5 business days. Please note that there may be additional delays before your refund is fully processed by your financial institution.

For items purchased on sale a $15 return shipping fee will be deducted from your refund or credit as applicable.
